By registering for this retreat, everyone agrees to the following rules. (If you are including other people in your registration, be sure to share these rules with them.)

No Substances
This is a substance-free, sober retreat. That includes alcohol, psychedelics, and any other intoxicants. Which means it also includes cannabis*. If anyone shows up at a session smelling of cannabis, we will need to address that.
*If you have a medical prescription, you may consume cannabis in your personal vehicle in the parking lot only. You may not bring any cannabis into your lodging or any public spaces.

No Fragrances or Strong Body Odor
Many people in our community are sensitive to scented products or strong body odor. Do not use essential oils, perfume, cologne, scented lotion, or scented body spray. Also, we will be in a crowded space where strong body odor will affect people around you--everyone agrees to come to retreat sessions reasonably fresh.

No Devices, Photos, Videos, or Other Recordings
This retreat offers a detox from technology. Computers, tablets, smartphones, and smart glasses are not permitted. And accordingly, we all agree to refrain from taking photos, videos, or any other recording during the weekend. (Note: smart watches should just be used as a timepiece, with all connectivity turned off.)

No Signs of Respiratory Infection
To ensure a healthy environment for everyone, our primary agreement is that no one may be at the retreat with outward symptoms of a respiratory infection (coughing, sneezing, runny nose, etc.). Even if your symptoms feel benign, they can create significant unease for others in shared spaces like the dance hall, dining hall, and soaking pools. Please understand that masking will not be a suitable substitute for this requirement.
